- The QE150 experimental casting machine operates by allowing the mixed slurry to flow from the trough onto the baseband (PET) while relative motion between the baseband and a comma-shaped scraper forms a green tape. The thickness of the green tape is controlled by the scraper, with an adjustable accuracy of up to 0.001mm.
The green tape, along with the baseband, is then conveyed into a drying chamber where solvent evaporates. An organic binder forms a network structure among ceramic particles, resulting in green tapes with a certain level of strength and flexibility. The dried green tapes are then rolled up together with the baseband for later use.
This equipment is characterized by high precision, high speed, stable performance, environmental friendliness, and energy efficiency.
